Keynote Address | Ken Steele, Chief Futurist at Eduvation, will address the Canadian Adult Education Credential as a key piece of the current foundational learning landscape. This interactive presentation will connect the community on current and future challenges related to the development and delivery of CAEC. |
Community Presentations | Practitioners from the Foundational Learning Community will present on key topics related to CAEC in the spirit of its further development. They will have
the chance to share their experience and expertise. These presentations should promote ongoing discussions and future collaborations. Each presentation will focus on a subtheme of CAEC advocacy: testing, management, prep, and access. |
Community Panels | These panels will discuss challenges and next steps related to a CAEC domain. Members will be from the Foundational Learning Community of Practice. A question period will involve the audience in this debate. |
Collaboration Project Exchange | This exchange will be an opportunity for groups in the Foundational Learning Community to take experience and expertise shared at this conference and turn it into collaboration projects in support of CAEC. |
Contest | A contest will be announced at the beginning of the program. The contest will be focused on trivia and participation. Prizes will be announced and sent to the winners. |
Exhibits | Exhibits of resources and services from providers will be offered in a virtual hall with information and exhibitor reps. |
