CAEC as a first step

The new Canadian Adult Education Credential is a first step. It is a first step for adult learners across the nation who need a high school equivalency diploma of employment, further studies, and personal fulfillment. It is a first step for educational practitioners, from prep providers to testing centres to support services to government agencies, as a solution to roll out as a community to support these learners in the face of rising costs and decreasing funds. It is a first step to restructure and improve foundational learning as a paramount realm through which adult students will progress as part of their learning path.
